Every page is a mile

Three questions, and that's the app

Track where you stopped, how far you've come and when you'll arrive. No feed, no accounts — your road is yours.

Where you stopped

Page, percent or timecode — for every book you're on at the same time. Picking a book back up after a month starts with a number, not with guesswork.

How you read

Pages, hours, days on the road — and reading speed from your timer sessions. A day counts once you make a single record — no fire, no shouting.

When you'll arrive

Pages left and a finish date, counted from your pace on this book over the last two weeks. Read under the timer and the hours left come with it.

Two ways to track, both first-class

Start a session and let the timer run, or tap +10 when you put the book down. Neither one is the “right” mode.

Session

One tap to start, the timer keeps its own time in the background and through a locked screen. On finish it asks one question: where did you stop.

Quick mark

A stepper, +5 / +10 / +25 and direct entry. Marked the wrong number — undo is right there in the snackbar.

Yesterday, on the plane

Add a session after the fact: date, duration, pages. Forgetting to start the timer costs you nothing.

Pages and days on the road come from every record. Time comes from every record that has a duration. Speed comes from timer sessions only — it's the one number the app measures itself instead of taking on trust, so a library kept on quick marks alone shows pages, days and a finish date, but no speed and no hours left.

Miles are honest

A line of book text is about 10 cm. A page is roughly 3 metres of text laid out in one line. Everything else follows from that.

500
pages ≈ 1 mile
7,000
pages ≈ a half marathon
14,000
pages ≈ a marathon

Miles sit on top of the ordinary numbers, they never replace them: progress is always pages and percent first. Audiobooks are counted in hours and books, and never converted into miles.

On the home screen, on the lock screen

Currently reading

The book you're on and how far the road has gone — small and medium.

Pages and session

Add 5, 10 or 25 pages without opening the app, or jump straight into a running session.

Days on the road

Your streak and today's goal on the home screen, and as a lock-screen complication.

One evening reminder

Off until you turn it on, at the hour you choose — and silent on the days you've already closed your goal.

Bring the library you already have

Import a CSV export from Goodreads or The StoryGraph. The format is recognized from the file itself, duplicates are skipped, and hundreds of rows land without freezing the app.

Changed your mind about the whole thing? Undo import removes exactly that batch and leaves the rest of the library alone. There is no limit on the number of books, and nothing in the app is paywalled by count.

Your road is yours

No account, no server of ours, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. Your library lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and nobody else keeps a copy of it.

Three kinds of request leave your phone: a book search, a cover download, and iCloud sync between your own devices. Nothing else, and nothing about how you read.
